So much for photorgraphy. My life on weekends has become bricks and mortar. I can now name the best brands of quick cement, how to mix vinyl patch, and which mortar works easiest.
Taking on a project is fun when you are just thinking about it, but getting it to look right involves many (MANY) trips to Home Depot. Hopefully, one day soon there will be a brick border around this flowerbed - oh and then I have to get the plants to grow!
One thing that I have learned during my first month of home ownership is that if you want something done a certain way - - DO IT YOURSELF. It can actually be rewarding, but it's killing my tennis game and social life.
